The activity was a roundtable amongst different stakeholders in the textile and \u00a0powerloom industry. All the participants were given 3 minutes to present their views.<\/p>\n<p>The stakeholders included factory workers and owners, traders, representatives of political parties and civil society organisations, and senior officials of government departments \u2013 labour, social security and EOBI. After detailed deliberations the participants formed a 21 member tripartite committee consisting of representatives of labour and owners associations.
