Preliminary Findings of Governance & Disaster study in Pakistan

This report presents a summary of the preliminary findings of the prefocus group opinions on statements and focus group discussions held by Pattan Development Organisation in various districts as part of the governance and disaster study. It presents the opinions of various stakeholders having substantial experience in disaster management in their respective regions. A section discussing the methodology follows this section, presenting details on how the FGD was conducted followed by a section presenting the findings of the research. The findings section also incorporates visual presentation of responses within all the statements.

Pattan is a founding member of Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN) and its focal point for Pakistan.
